An ecological park aims to protect ecosystems through ethical and moral use of natural habitat but yet demonstrated in a park like setting to show this fundamental, compassionate approach to nature. This center point attraction in Rio Solare will be a crowning achievement; bringing together all installations in a form of recreation that demonstrates sustainability.
This 300 acre parcel on the Colorado River was once a working golf course with a 14 story hotel tower that was stopped in mid-construction. The shell of this vacant, concrete building will be the nation’s tallest and largest vertical farm. Other technologies would include the covering of the entire building’s exterior in solar panels activated by the movement of the sun; behaving like an opening flower in the morning.
This building will be centralized to the other parts of the Eco Park which would include the communication hub of Rio Solare, an indoor ice wall, competition kayak streams, a new golf course and much more.
The Emerald River Eco Park would be without parallel and become a world destination for learning and recreation.
